2 dvds to 1 dvd-r?...

What is the easiest way to put 2 dvd movies on 1 dvd-r? Both should fit on a dvd-r without compressing.

I don't think there's an easy way (if there is even A way) to do it and keep the original menus, but you can take the main movie from both dvd's and easily put them onto one dvd with your own menu's using TMPGEnc DVD Author. Most authoring tools will probably provide this feature.

In TMPGEnc, in the area where you select something like "import mpeg", there should also be a button that says something like "import DVD movie". You can then select the appropriate VIDEO_TS folder that has the dvd files in it. This allows you to just get the movie, including the chapters (but not chapter menu's), and one audio track (I think).

Once you do this for both movies, you can make a menu to select either one, and even make your own chapter menu's if you want. It would be nice to be able to import entire DVD structures, but I don't know if this is possible.

In my opinion, using DVD Shrink "Re-author" mode is the easiest way.

yeah, that is a good way for episodic dvd's, but for two movies, is there any way to make a menu so you don't have to jump through all the chapters in the first movie to get to the second?

Yes. Simply advance titles, not chapters.

I agree with DDlooping, I believe DVD Shrink is the easiest way to do this.
