Hi,
I'm trying to re-encode an avi file into avi again using ffmpegX (file too big). And even when I precise the bitrate and the size of the file I want at the end, I'm getting something much smaller (100 instead of 160) and with a much lower bitrate (720kbps instead of 960kbps).
But the PNSR is really high (about 44), so I'm wondering if ffmpegX is not diminuing the bitrate as long as it doesn't make a quality difference, or if there is another problem.
Thank you for any help.
Cyprien
PS: using ffmpegX 0.0.9m
