    I have a Sony DVMC-DA1 or maybe its the DA2 I get them confused and have a really stupid question.

    I can import video form it fine, the diplay when I do so in the import window shows what I'm importing.

    But is there by chance an app out there that will let me view whatever is coming through that box Full screen under OSX? Was thinking about using it to hook my xbox upto my Mac.

    BTV works, but if you do not need to capture and just want full screen playback on your monitor try Video Viewer by Schubert it. It is much cheaper and will allow you to play on your Mac. The problem you'll find, however, is latency. If you need precise button push timing and you are only watching on your monitor, the split-second encoding delay may cause problems.
