I have an MPEG file that I am trying to author. It plays perfectly in everything I use to play it, even in preview mode in DVD Workshop 2. After I author it to DVD, there is an audio sync problem.

I have tried dropping the data rate from 8000 to 4000 and also tried saving to a faster hard drive, but neither helped.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm stuck. It's really frustrating.

    Thanks,
    Brian

Whoa, we run into each other everywhere. lol

Are you using DVDWS 2 as well?

I am flat out of ideas. I'm not sure what the problem is. I have tried various things, and no matter what I always get at least a little sync problem. It's very frustrating. I had no problem with some other authoring tools, but I love the workflow and flexibility of DVDWS2 and hate to switch.

Well, I think the original file is jacked up a bit. I just deleted it, and I'm going to do it over. It was done months ago, so I'd rather just do it from scratch. It's not a big issue.

I read somewhere else that demuxing the files may be needed. Apparently DVDWS may not properly handle mux internally when creating the VOBs.

Yeah, bek sounded familiar to me.

I just started using DVDWS2 a few days ago. Just got it. I'm trying to switch over to it from DVDit! PE because of multi VTS and motion menus.
