  1. Can I fit .avi's that are over 700MB on a 700MB Cd? How?

  2. Yes and no. Yes you can if you compress it with winace or winrar or another compression utility. No you can't if your trying to save it as an avi on a data cd. VCD's don't use error correction and this is why you can burn more than 700 MB on a 700MB cd.

    no problem!
    But if you want it in VCD format that can playback on DVD or VCD player, you must convert the avi files into VCD compatible mpeg1 format.

  6. You need a converter, I recommend the AVI2VCD v1.3.8 or later. Go to http://www.mpegnews.com/vencoder.shtml
    This will allow you to convert to MPEG and then burn a VCD. Hope it helps.
