When configuring dual passes with DivX should the settings remain the same in both passes?
Thanks

Yes. Settings such as PSY visual, keyframes, quality, and pre-processing should be same. The only thing you change in second pass is instead of 1st pass, select nth pass.

OK thanks,
When converting a DVD to DivX I historically have resized from 720 x 576 to 352 x 288. This seems to make to DivX file more compatible/playable with less powerful computers.
My question now is do I need to deinterlace during processing? Its never really been a problem before but after encoding dual pass the first time the DivX file in places had interlacy looking lines in the video.
