margi dvd to go - blue line across lefthand side of screen..

I use margi dvd to go and when using compatible dvd software a blue line appears across the lefthand side of the screen, although it does not interfer with video quality it is bright and annoying. I hear this is a alignment problem with my video display. I have the margi pcmcia card in the zoomed video slot on a 770z thinkpad (PII). I was told to edit an .ini file, but I do not have the know how to do this. Any info is appreciated. Thanks

I probably can't help you much, but the card sounds interesting. I see it has been discontinued. Have you checked the resources at the manufactures site: http://www.margi.com/support/dtg_home.htm ?
