  1. I have been having some problems lately with Nero, and TMPGEnc DVD Author... I create a project with DVD Author with around 7 tracks, and everything seems to work fine, but when Author is finished, all of the tracks come out fine except for 1 every time! The 1 file is always output smaller than the input file was... I continue, and try to burn this in Nero, and it fails at 1%, 4%, or 26%, depending on the project... When this DVD-Video compilation in Nero fails, the drive continues to stay occupied, and in use, and the Nero program continues running, even though it has failed... Then, when the wait time expires from the Nero program (usually about 13 mins. per dvd), the DVD finally fails... I remove this DVD from the tray, and even though it was supposed to have failed at one of those percents above, this disc is FULL! I place the same DVD back in my drive, and push the tray closed, and it plays like a regular DVD, except for the file that was output smaller than its input file was... That file plays to about the equivalent of the size of the file that the TMPGEnc DVD Author program outputs... One thing is weird though... I now have 2 NEC ND2500 8x DVD-rw drives in my computer, and before I installed them, I had DVDs that I had made using TMPGEnc DVD Author... Those DVDs still burn perfectly in Nero. I was wondering if these issues had something to do with my ASPI, since I checked it using Nero InfoTool, and it says that Nero's ASPI is working fine, but my system ASPI is not... Does that effect anything, or is it TMPGEnc DVD Author or ????

Every now and then I have a disc crash at 100% in Nero, Prassi or RecordNow. Sometimes 97-99%. Always fine.
