Please help to choose

Hi,

New to this forum and new to DVD recorders. After doing research for a while on this forum as well as other places I want to know following things.

Following are features which I'm looking for in DVD recorder

I want a DVD recorder which can record from camcorder and can create good DVD (I've seen results from RDR-GX7 with camcorder and it was excellent, I'm looking for something like that).

I want a DVD recorder which can also create VCD/SVCD (sometimes I need to send things to few of my freinds who are outside US & creating VCD/SVCD makes life easy for them).

I want a DVD recorder which can copy my cable programs (not necessary to HardDisk).

Based on above things I've two models in mind. Lite-on 5005 & JVC DR-M10. I'd appreciate if you guys help me in deciding.

JVC DR-M10 can not record VCD/SVCD. Your only choice so far is LiteOn 5005.
