I would like to take two DVD discs, each about 2 GB in size, and put them onto one disc. I know how to do this with TMPGEnc DVD Author, using the import DVD Movie option, but that only brings in the main movie and keeps the chapter markings. It doesn't allow me to use the menus and extras.
Is there any way to simply create a root menu with both DVD's listed for you to choose from, and then take you to the appropriate DVD's root menu when you select one of them?
Thanks,
Brent

This question is asked often and the answer is always NO. I doubt it has changed.

You can create a main menu for the two movies that can take you to a submenu and that sub can list chapter points. So, I believe it can be done. But not the menus that came with the DVD's .Originally Posted by Brent212
For instance... We own a few Scoobie Doo DVD's .... I create compilation DVD's for the VAN that may include two full movies (1 hour each)...
Now... I''ll DVD Movie Factory (Ulead) to create the main menu and, on occassion, submenus with chapter points from each movie... BUT I cannot utilize the menus from the originals... -
Actually, I saw a response to this once where the responder (?) claimed to have done exactly this, and even provided a very detailed 10 page guide. I read about 2 pages into it, got really bored, and decided it wasn't worth the time and effort.

Wow, sorry to inconvenience you to the point of making such a worthless post. I know how utterly annoying it can be to have to read a question similar to one you've read before. Repeat questions make life soooooo difficult to deal with 8)Originally Posted by Shocker Milwaukee

Yeah, I figured there is probably a guide somewhere that explains an extensive process to accomplish this. I was just wondering if there is a tool to automate it. If you have to manually re-create the menu structure using the original menus then it probably wouldn't be worth it.Originally Posted by smearbrick1
