Recording thru the tuner of my AIW 9800 last night, at the top of the hour, when the program was changing, I suddenly get a message to the effect that the owner of the programming has marked it for no record and the recorder will be shut down. After a few seconds, the recorder does indeed shut down. I started it back up and no more message so I guess it only sends the 'no record' mark at the beginning of the program.
I've never heard of this before! Anybody know what's going on? How can I disable this? I'm using MMC 9.1 if that makes any difference.

That's the Flag to not record. If you had set up a timer it would have cancelled.
The StarZ channel used a copy protection scheme that prevented all my attempts to record it about 2 years ago. I think StarZ was trialing the process. I tried VCR's and a Hapaugge capture card. I don't get StarZ now.
