  1. I have tried to integrate a wireless Access Point (802.11g) to a normal TV cable using a T-joint (one side of the T-joint connects to the access point, one side connects to the TV cable which connects to the antenna located on the roof of my house for receving TV signal, and one side connects to the TV cable which connects to my TV inside my room). The wireless Access Point has also been connected to a modem for Internet access and is located at the ground floor of my house. Inside my room, I have used a 2.4GHz two-way splitter to connect the TV cable (which connects to my TV) and a 5dBi antenna trying to get the wireless broadband signal from the access point. However, it seems doesn't work well (I need to watch TV and go to the Internet wireless using my laptop at the same time). Can anyone please tell me how to make it work and where can I buy the required equipment. Thanks so much.

I think you're lucky you haven't burned up your access devices. It's the wrong impedance, the wrong frequency, the wrong amount of RF power. Noise on your cable wire would also interfere with this, along with 60HZ hum, static discharges, etc. If you have problems with wireless transmission, you should use a higher power access point.
