Who would? They are far from legit and target newbies who
do not know any better. There are hundreds of sites like
these - some are now claiming Yahoo or PC World certification.
I know of one that says "As seen on TV"
The price ranges from $5 to $200. Some claim to have an
FTP database but most seem to offer a p2p client that
is re-skinned freeware and some "instructions". -
I'll bet it's loaded with spyware/adware too
