having troubles getting dvd's that i burn on my computer to play on my standalone dvd(toshiba sd-1300) but when i play them on my standalone dvd recorder (omni) they play perfectly without any problems.
The toshiba has never rejected anything i have ever thrown at it eg vcd's,imported movies, burnt dvd's,dvd's created by friends etc.
I am puzzled why i get disc error when i try and play one's made on my computer.
Not sure if it they are finalized properly on my computer or not or if im not using the right software.
My dvd recorder on my computer is the new LG burners the GSA-412OB.
I have tried a number of guides from this site but still no result.
The only other thing i can possibly think of is either the dvd recorder is to blame or i'm not doing something right.
I have only one issue when i am backing up my dvd's in that i dont understand .ifo files when burning. refer to from copytodvd guide (step3) at http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.phpcategory=dvdburn&name=copytodvd
Software i have used...
-nero 5.5.9,5.5.10 and nero 6
-dvd decrypter
-dvd shrink
-copytodvd
-dvd2one
