Just purchased a Malata MDVD-6828 found here:
http://www.malata.com/product/MDVD-6828.asp.
It comes with a Karaoke DVD disc that has over 20000 songs.
The disc is basically a DVD, authored the same way as a normal DVD with video_ts and audio_ts folders would be. As well it has some other files on the root directory. It has around 8 or so files totaling about 5.3 G wich I am guessing has the MIDI songs encoded into them. I am guessing, this player reads the .vob files inside the video_ts folder and at the same time reading the index files for playing those midi encoded files.
The player has a scoring feature for Karaoke and can display progressive and interlaced video at the same time.
Any body has an idea on how to author this MDVD or Midi DVD disc?
