I have 4 systems, all set up similarly to each other and able to swap DVDR drives if needed. 3 systems are running normally, but one system is having a problem with burning the DVDs. I think I might have got a software problem, but having difficulty trouble shooting it. It's following the HD so I'm sure it's Software related, as I've swapped other hardwares and still end up with the same problem using this HD, but everything works fine on the other systems.

I've placed the Hard Drive as the Master in my simple Soyo system for this troubleshooting process. Here are my Specs, which should be very similar to the ones in my profile. Nothing on this system is overclocked.

M/B - Soyo P4VGA
CPU - 2.2GHz P4
Ram - 512k PC2100
HD - Seagate 7200RPM 150GB
DVDR(W) - I/O Magic 4x internal
Video Card - ATI AIW 9600

Software:
DVD Shrink
DVD43
ANYDVD
DVD-X-TREME (using DVD-X-Maker & DVD-X-Express)

I'm trying to remember what I had uninstalled or installed on my system when this started. I hadn't used this system to burn in quite a while until I started to test new media. All media's used, even control media that has worked with the system previously, are coming up with this problem. Using any software program the process runs smoothly and properly including the burn. The problem is when the process is at the end and it's finalizing the disc. Normally, finalizing takes from 30 sec. to 2 min. Now it's taking 15-35 min. and the disc is ejected with an error. I'll see if I can get a screen print of the error to post. I notice on the Disc that the burn was made completely for the movie, however, it looks like there is an overlapping burn from the finalization process that is about 1cm wide, and a little shinier, than the actual movie burn. Right now for a PIC I'm trying to get a decent shot with a digital cam of the disc on how the burn looks. Once I get that and post it, I'll also post the error screen shot.
