Forum experts: I have run into a big problem recording a live show every week and can use your help. What I want to be able to do is to record the live show using my camcorder (high-end Canon GL2), BUT instead of using the built-in microphone (or an attachment microphone) for the sound, I want to take the stereo feed from our multi-channel mixing board (sound source) and input it into the camcorder as I tape live, so that I can get a much higher quality sound signal.
I can't seem to figure out how to do this. Can I use the microphone input for this? Or is there a better way to go about this? The final goal for this is to cut a DVD of each performance with as high a quality sound as we can get.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions!
Mark
