If you are using Nero, select the DVD wizard and place all the authored files (BUPs, IFO, and VOBs) into the VIDEO_TS folder and burn them.

2 mpeg files, or 2 sets of DVD files (bup, ifo, vobs)? Seems to me that the easiest way to get them on the same disk was to take the mpegs and author them onto the same disk at the same time. I suggest you start from there.

I don't use nero, but TMPGEnc DVD Author (TDA) can accept your mpegs or your vob's and will author them onto the same DVD. Demo available.

If you have already authored them and they are too big for one dvd, you can run them through Shrink. It is probably better to calcullate the proper size before encoding them and just author them straight to dvd. Encoding is better than transcoding.
