I'd just like an entry-level, no hard drive, don't care what the menu template looks like, but decent quality recorder. I'd just be using it to record old non-protected VHS rarities. A couple of people I know use the older DMR 30 models. Have any of the Panasonic DMR 30, 50, 55, etc. non-hard drive models reached or went below the $200 mark so I can snap one up, and if so, does anybody know where? New, clearance, or even refurb. doesn't matter, just below $200. Thanks.

None has reach that mark as of yet. But you might catch a good deal on Ebay for a used one at that mark.
