How to convert PAL to NTSC

I've got 2 PAL mpg video clips that I want to convert to NTSC and burn onto one dvd. I loaded the files into tmpgenc dvd author and it says they are MPEG2 480x576 25 fps 4:3 PAL.

Suggestions on how I can convert this from PAL to NTSC?

Thanks! I''ve already read over one of the guides, may be the same one you posted and trying to do it now. I would like to convert both of these files in to NTSC and then merge them together and burn them onto 1 dvd.

I may be asking to much...may be to large
