hello
it seems eyeTv has come out with the 'first' HDTV recorder for the mac.
http://www.elgato.com/index.php?file=products_eyetv500
but the question is: how does it 'render' the TV? what files does it use?
the download says 8GB/hr
anybody have any more info?
thanks rotut

At 8GB/hour it seems like it would use MPEG2.
If it isn't broken, take it apart and find out why.
