I have 200 pictures that I want to make into a slideshow. I have tried to make a svcd version with Nero. If I choose svcd Nero protests after 99 pictures. If I use NeroExpress and choose a slideshow on a svcd it forces the pictures into 3 chapters, the first 2 with 99 and the last one with the remaining 2 pictures. Why is this so? I mean the pictures total size is 400 MB so it cannot be a size problem. Would it be better to do it on a dvd instead?

Why don't you make it as a regular VCD? Don't bother using Nero Express, do it straight in Nero Burning ROM.

Max 99 chapters/title is allowed on VCD IIRC. There are proggies like "Memories on CD" or something like to help you make photo slide shows. I used Ulead VideoStudio once, and that came out pretty nice, but was a lot of work...
