  1. I've got an NEC ND-100A DVD+RW writer in my Dell Dimension 8300 and will be upgrading to the ND2500ABLK DVD RW writer. I currently use Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 to burn DVD's on the 1100A. Is it possible to add the ND2500 as a second drive and use the 1100A as a source drive to copy from? Will Easy CD Creator 5 allow me to do this? Am I better off sticking with one drive for copying and burning DVD's and CD's?

    Thanks,
    Gary

a normal dvd-rom will likely be quicker at ripping than an RW drive. don't forget your dvd's will still need decrypting and likely shrinking/reauthoring too, so disc to disc for DVD won't happen.

With AnyDVD 3 running in the background you can copy pressed DVD5 to DVDR on-the-fly

I would put the setup the new one as secondary master and use the old one for ripping (watch out for the jumper settings)
You stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fv<king Jacob's off.
