backing up disney movies (play skip back few frames)

I'm having slight problems with backing-up some of my disney movies. Tarzan/Little mermaid 2/Brother Bear. After ripping with smart ripper and dvd decrypter. I played the begining of the movie and noticed that the movie would start to play and skip back several frames and continue playing. This conitnues for about 10 mins of the movie then clear up. I tried using dvd shrink. I looked at the preview on DVD Shrink and I see the same backward/forward play durring the intro of the movie. The strange thing is, I was able to backup the secong disk of Brother Bear but not disk 1. Anyone know of this problem or have any solutions. Thanks. garman

Do those discs contain games? I had the same problem with Lion King 1.5, and it was because of a game that was embedded in the movie. If you do movie only, you shouldn't have that problem.

Do you mean a game on the movie or a PC game. Sometime ago I attempted to copy Tarzan movie on it's own and coverted to a vcd. I noticed the play forward and play backward routine. Anyway I'll try it again. Thanks -garman
