Volume three they don't involve blind eskimo amputees and kitchen utensils, so I can show it in mixed company

I like Friends too. We don't have any recorded but getting the DVD set is on our list for the future. It'll have to wait for Little House on the Prairie (wife's), Married With Children (mine), Star Trek DS9 and Crime Story.

    true....
i love winding up americans sometimes - just point out that because the USA didn't exist until after the battle for inependence, britain technically defeated itself in the war
Eddie Izzard does a great sketch about americans history
"COME! see this house! preserved exactly as it was FIFTY YEARS AGGGO!" "no, that's not possible! people weren't ALIVE back then!!" and then disney coming to england "we'd perhaps better make the castle a bit bigger here lads, they've actually got them in this country. and they're not made of plastic..."

I used to love the British Airways TV ads that had some well-known older English actor, I forget his name, trying to drum up visitors to the UK from here. He refers to us as "colonists" and his last line is "come back home...all is forgiven". Brilliant ad, and I'll bet it succeeded swimmingly

All those chick flicks the ex-girlfriend wanted. In fact, all I have left are the backups in the CD wallet. Bitch ran off with the originals, along with some CDs (good thing I had the MP3 ripped on those too, though not all ). THIS IS WHY backups are a good thing, when your stuff gets stolen.

Why don't I toss them out? What, and have to buy that shit all over again for the next woman! Yeah, right. Once was enough.

Oh, and let's not forget this ... it gets better ... I only backed them up because she dropped them and handled them like a kid. Set them down wherever, whenever. SLID THEM across a surface ... yeah, you guessed it ... those were the backups. So on top of stealing my stuff, I got left with the scratched copies. PLUS many of them were from the $2-3 blank media days. I got fucked on this one.

I used to hide the good remote when she came over. I left out the universal one. Otherwise it'd smell like ******* hand lotion, and I hate that stuff. Nothing worse than a slimey remote. Yuck.

The BBC adaptation of Jane Austin's Pride and Prejudice, for my wife.
She goes on and on about how great it is, and eventually I will watch it (if only to draw my own conclusions).
My wife has great taste (look at me... ) but I'm not so sure with this one.

What, a good old five fingered rub or the washing up liquid bottle?
    Is that what you're inferring?
    I guess so
But how do you wear out a DVD?
    Mucky cow!

  27. I bought (during my single days) a few CD's that had a 'few photos' on them (ok, one was "babes something or another") .... this was in the mid eighties ... well, forgot about them completey (and I'm a pack rat so I could not throw them away).... I had made a back copy of each and stored with the original in my safe. Why I put them in the safe I have no idea.

But, one day wife was cleaning safe out and came across CD's.... now CD lables were very generic... but she was curious... not sure were cd's are now.

I put labels on my porn that read "Windows install disc", "Home Alarm Schematics" or "Visual Basic Apps I wrote", and that keeps away any curious eyes
