i tried to copy a DVD, Pirates of the caribean, with clone DVD but it says that Cole DVD can not backup copy protected DVDs. I tried with DVD Shrink, in the Re-author mode, but i got a 75%, only with the main movie and one audio option, there is something weird i think?
Is it normal that when i use Re-author, the file looks bigger, i mean, when i did it with this movie, the main movie was 6.4 GB and the Extras =4 GB, but the DVD was only 7 GB....??????????????????????'

With that move, that's about normal. 6.4G > 4.37G, about 75%. If you want more quality, you would have to split to 2 discs. About the size differences; Shrink may not be interpreting them correctly, no big deal.

If you want to use clonedvd you need to also use a program such as anydvd, dvd43, dvddecrypter, smartripper, etc.
Blah, blah, blah -
With elby CloneDVD, all you need that is another software running on the back ground: DVD Region-Free or AnyDVD.
Then you CAN direct back up ANY your CSS proctacted DVDs.
DVD Region-Free and AnyDVD all work well with CloneDVD.
Have fun...

Yes, you simply must de-"proctact" your CSS "proctacted" discs.
AnyDVD, DVD Decrypter, DVD Region Free, SmartRipper, etc.
(Although I personally don't trust the deCSS in DVD Region Free...)
