Hi I was wondering if there is software of some sort of setup that
would allow me to output video to a tv monitor?
I can do it in vegas output the preview window through my dv camcorder
and watch it on the tv. Is there a way I could do this with other programs like media player?
thanks

Doesn't your graphics card have TV Out? Most do these days... If it does, that'd be the logical solution. Seems to be a roundabout way to feed the video thru a camcorder via FireWire...

yes it does but I have to crt monitors hooked up to it right now. It won't let me use the s-video and the two vga outs at the same time. And I am not ready to give up one of my screens, Yes I am going about it in a very round about way but since I can use my to computer screens for editing on vegas and see the previews on the tv monitor all at the same tiime it got me wondering if it was possible to view other media that way if not no prob I will just get off my lazy butt and go in the living room.

...or get a 2nd GFX card? If your only requirement for it is TV Out, it shouldn't set you back many bucks...

ya I guess it will have to be a pci gfx card. I'll go check out e-bay seems like an easy way to go
