Thank you for the reply. I've looked at the DVD Media section but I'm still unsure. Does anyone have experience using these discs?
Thanks. -
Personally, RITEK means "run away" to me now. It's getting worse as the months go by.

If money is more important than limiting the amount of coasters or burn quality (esp. >4GB point), then you can experiment with ProDisc from what I have read here. -
Thanks for advices.
Do you know where can I buy those "1st Class Media" in UK?
Thanks. -

Ridisk and Ritek (purple-topped with silver RITEX written on are very good. i have try'd both no problems -
I think it depends on your burner as well.
I have a pioneer 106 and have used Datawrite yellow and Ritek Tango , I have not had a coaster with a DVDR and have had no conmpatability problems with them , I have 4 different standalones and they work great for me.
I like the Datawrite Yellow more now they use Ritek Dye . Good price and (for me) have been 100% reliable . I've probably used 350 discs to date. -

For the extra money, you are better off with Maxell -R (Japan) -
I still buy and use Ritek's....I just don't buy the white topped ones. I strictly use the "naked" ones with nothing on the top at all.

Datasafe is kind of the best Ritek G04 you can get your hands on. 100% burn readability, very nice dye and play in all players. Thats my experience anyway. Look at media list on this site and you will see that lots of people have the same experience using this media.
The purpel discs are Ritek branded and supposed to be top quality. I tried a 25 pack and they worked fine. Some of them did show signs of bad dye and some had small scratches in the dye, so i can't give them a top raiting even thue they worked fine.
Ridisc did also work fine for me, but lots of them show signs of bad dye. Thats why I decide to stay away from them.
I have no good experience of Datawrite, however I haven't tried their G04......
So I recommand you to buy Datasafe and it would suprise me if they gave you any trouble at all! -
