Well..actually MPEG-4 .AVI is DivX 4/5. DivX is a trade name and DivX 4 and 5 are using the same format. DivX is a way to encode MPEG-4 into an .avi file and so is XviD and 3ivX encodes MPEG-4 into a QuickTime file and can be exported as pure MPEG-4 (.mp4) with AAC audio i QuickTime.Originally Posted by Caesar_091
