  1. hi, i am a newbie and didnt know whether 2 put diz in the newbie section or conversion so ill jus put it in here......when i convert my avi to a vcd using tmpge.....right at 99% it says it has a sound error or audio error.......then when i play the mpeg i made it plays the sound but no picture comes up.........its just a black screen with the sound to the movie playing......any ideas on how to fix this? could really use some help......thankx

  2. first...what is the avi..EG: 23.97,,,25,,,29.97fps..what template are you using exactly....if you are using the correct template and the avi is not corrupt or broken then more info will be needed...always match the frame rate with the template you use..but your problem may be deeper than my knowledge can handle...try again.

  3. yo thankx 4 help........da template iz 25 and i used the right one.......i followed the guide step by step and im not sure what i am doing wrong......however im not sure if my avi iz corrupt......if i open the file in windows media it plays fine.........but if i right click it then press preview it tells me error driver outdated......could that mean that my video iz corrupt?....thankx 4 taking the time 2 try and help me out

  4. Open it in virtualdub, that should pick up any errors in your avi

  6. this sounds like a codec problem....open the file in virtual dub...then click on file---file information..this should tell you what codec was used for the file...if you dont have it on your computer then you will get strange things happening. I heard about a brand new codec (vids34 or something) but have not got a file like that yet.I also dont know where the codec is for that file type either.

  7. yo thankx 4 da help again.....i did what u said and this iz what i got......for video stream it says.....Frame size 352x288,25.000fps(40000ps.....# if frames 77969(51:5......Decompressor DivX MPEG-4 Video Codec.........Number of key frames 3161...........total key frame size 1358/7973/17724(24614K)........total delta frame size 0/2351/18820(171788K).........hope that helps.....n-e-idea on what 2 do next?

  8. I think everyone in the world has that codec...I'm lost...I hope someone else can help you further...onemore thing..have you tried to save wav. click audio,full processing mode and file,save .wav, this may help a little.
