Hello all
Im using SVCDTODVD to author to BIN files so that they can be burned to DVD. The files where origionally BIN files but i found that the first file had A/v out of sync, so i changed the first file to MPEG using VCDGear, and adjusted the the audio using WOMBLE MPEG-VCR, i then changed the second file to MPEG so that I had matching files again using VCDGear, I then loaded the two files into SVCDTODVD and set it away, the problem is when im using this tool and i watch the log it gets to "Multiplexing ElementrySteam" on the first file and then stops! The program just sits there at that point and doesnt go any further! Bearing in mind that the first file is the file that i have adjusted the audio on, im pretty sure that i have missed something!! I have read your threads on Womble and SVCD2DVD and followed them to the letter as well as this i have followed other advice given in the program help files and i still cannot work out where i have went wrong!
Can anyone help as it is now driving me crazy!!!
thanks chris
P.S. I am fairly new to this so if any advice could be kept as simple as possible it would be appeciated
Again thanks

WHen all else fails, open the SVCD in an authoring app and save as a DVD MPEG. Then author. Works every time and probably would have taken less time than troubleshooting the quick route you tried.

Like I said im new to this subject and im going to need a little more info than that. I changed the second file to the origiomal file which is BIN and it workd the thing is it only worked for the second file the first file which i changed with WOMBLE didnt work. Im sure it is something im doing (or not) doing with WOMBLE that prevents SVCD2DVD from working on both files. The only Author Tool I have is TMPGenc and it wont accept any of the files Im using be it MPEG or BIN . Thanks for the reply Im at the stage when anything will help because Im tearing my hair out!!!!
Thanks Chris -
Ive had a play about with my various authoring apps and none will accept the BIN nor the MPEG file it is definately something to do with the first BIN file that I changed to MPEG and rectified with WOMBLE.
Again thanks for any help
