    I have used both programs and I love the Premiere Pro interface, but it doesn't have as many great effects as Vegas 5 such as Flash transition and whatnot... Is there a way to get these effects in Adobe Premiere Pro?

    You will find that most pros wont use most of whats there anyway. A few simple fades, an occassional custom wipe. If you want something really special, look at Pixelan's Spice series.
