Eventhough the burner is 2x, can i still use 4x media? I didnt know if it would hurt the burner? i do have the latest firmware. thanks

As long as you have firmware 1.40 (I think) or above that prevents lazer burn out the 4 speed media will work fine (at 2x of course).
I used Ritek's and MCCs in mine.
