Had many CMC coasters which would not even initialize, let alone burn.

Saw post in this forum several weeks ago linking to the Ontario CA Memorex headquarters whereby you could fill out an online form requesting replacement.

Seriously doubted that Memorex would send replacements. Made request May 25, 2004 and received all replacements by U.S. Postal package this afternoon.

Thanks to the posters here at Video Help (or as it used to be called in the good old days years ago VCD Help).

And thanks to Memorex for honoring their online replacement policy. As I got the bad DVDs at Amazon, it just wasn't worth it to try and seek replacement from them.

Memorex sent me RICOHJPNR01 replacements for the bad CMC! AND they sent them in Jewel cases to replace DVDs which were in cake box.

Memorex just got me back as a customer who burns 50 to 75 DVDs monthly.

Memorex is a good company, I had a 6 month old MEC ND-1100a and it died, I easily got an RMA number and in a period of about 10 days from time I shipped it to them I received my replacement drive with no hassles.

I'm beginning to understand Memorex is, as you say, a good company Mr. Orange Pants and GKar.

I noted someone else posted in this forum indicated they requested replacements today, but their link to "Memorex Consumable Items Replacement Request" doesn't reach the right page. Don't know if it is because it is such a long url.

This is the Memorex Consumable Items Replacement Request link I used...if it can be reached from here:
