    Is the saying pretty much true? If you have a movie with problems from the get go, lets say pixelization, is it going to come out with the same problem because thats how the original movie came downloaded?
    Hope this question makes sense.

    A movie with pixellation would indicate a movie that has already been converted to a compressed format. You may be able to help an old beat up VHS tape with some filters but if someone already jacked it up by not using enough bitrate or something... ....

    This is not an entirely true theory. Very often, I can make DVDs that look better than the source. But to what degree? That's always the question. Don't expect miracles, just expect something better.

    Yeah, I posted in a couple different forums to try and find an answer.
    Sounds like maybe I shouldnt give up so easily.
    I may work with it and see what I can do. It can only drive me crazier. haha.

  9. Did you see my simple little example on that other board?
    It (I think) shows a vast improvement over the original. You should see it in motion!

    Yes, I did see the pictures and the difference between the two.
    Thats one of the reasons I think I will try to play with it and see
    what I get.
