    Hey can someone help me with this prob i'm having with my DVD player.
    The problem is the damn DVD player won't play DVD's, it plays everthing else from vcd, cds etc, Everthing but it's primary function, playing DVDs. Is my player done for or can i be helped. The modle is a Samsung P231.

    Has it just stopped working? If so, you may try cleaning the lens and see if that helps you.

    Yes i did try cleaning the lens, however that was no help to me. As i said it would play VCD's & CD's, those type of things with no problem. When i try to play a DVD it tells me "no disc ". Can it be the DVD mode is not functioning? If so, is there some way i can correct this prob.

    The prob 1st occured when i was watching a movie. I stoped it, when i wanted to continue watching the movie the play would not respond.
