I checked out the link and it looks interesting but ... I'm sure it would cost a hell of a lot of money!
I currently have an old SONY VAIO P3 and it has held up well over the years.
Looking at new pre-configured computers SONY VAIO would be the only models I would consider myself.
Though I kinda "cheated" last time ... in the past I've built computers from scratch starting out with a CPU/MB combo or bare bones system and putting it together myself.
That is probably what I'll do on my next upgrade.
For someone considering purchasing a new pre-configured computer now the SONY VAIO model PCV-RS520 looks like a good balance of features and price. Yes you could do better buying everything to put together yourself but the price really isn't bad for a pre-configured computer especially considering all you get with it.
