Tmpgenc 24 min. video

hello everybody im a newb here and i tried the search feature before i posted this so please bear with me. i have installed tmpgenc ver. 259 and was using to konvert and avi file to and m2v. stream as per the guides and the audio into its respective stream. the problem im having is the audio comes out fine but the video stream comes out one 24 mins long. its looks like the whole movie is there but frames may be missing because i have the start and the end of the movie. i think im doing someting wrong, any help would b e apreciated. thx

Since your post has not been answered yet I will take a stab at it.
Download a copy of VirtualDub and ue it to check your AVI
for bad frames.
