  1. Can some one help i have downloaded two films there are DivX5.x codec. I go through the process of setting my conversion details at the end just before TMPGEnc starts converting it shuts down cna some one help.

    wait i dont get your question. Does tmpgenc close before the encode starts or does it close during the encode?

  3. just before ecoding. split second after the screen where you decide where to save the file (Project Wizard).

    oh, hmmmm, this doesn't sound like a encoding problem then, it seems more of a program error. Try to reinstall tmpgenc and see what happens. Get the latest ver if need be. Also what is your OS?

  5. make sure you have the proper codecs.
    also make sure you can actually play the file.
    make sure you have raised the directshow priority
    scan the avi for bad frames using divx fix or virtualdub

  6. Or just use mainconcept to encode a lot easier and a dam site quicker, then use tmpgenc dvd author to do just that, author.

  7. Can i just add i got the same with TMPGEnc Xpress and i have a just installed it.
