  1. Does anyone remember this beer not too long ago maybe 6 years

Came in 10 packs (I think)
Small little green bottels (6oz or 8oz)
Had "cream" in the name of the beer
Think the name was 3 or 4 words
Packaging was green and the bottles were not visiable

    Never mind, Finally remembered

    Little Kings Cream Ale

    Little Kings Creame Ale?

They came in 7 oz. bottles...I think, hell I went through them so fast I never got a chance to peel the labels.

EDIT: Maybe I should read the whole post next time Unless you edited it as I was typing :P

  3. edited it right after I posted it

Yep, used to love those little beers!

I can't find them anywhere and it seems the brewery is out of biz.

That beer thread got me thinking about them....

I wonder if that is the same as Genessee Cream Ale? Haven't heard that name in YEARS either. Genessee had small green bottles as well and that is the only other beer that I remember using "creme(cream) ale" in the name.

Which is odd because I can't picture beer with cream in it

I thought we(my friends and I) were the only ones who drank those little bottles when we were young...
As I recall our personal preference were the little Miller "Pony" Bottles. I think those were 7oz. as well. Wow did we have a HUGE collection of those at our secret drinking spot in the woods.

    OK...it was/is spelled Genesee:
The Genesee Brewery was founded in 1878 in Rochester, New York. The Genesee Brewing Company is America's largest family-operated, regional brewery. While only being sold in half the country, it is ranked as the 7th largest brewery in the United States.

The Brewery is located at 445 St. Paul Street in downtown Rochester, New York. It has one and only one brewery in all of the United States. Hence its slogan One Brewery, One Great Taste. The Genesee Brewery distributes its products to 26 states and 2 Canadian Proviences.

Genesee distributes 8 beers under the Genesee name. Included among these are Genesee Beer, Genny Light, Genny Cream Ale, Genny Bock, Genny 12 Horse Ale, Genny NA (non-alcoholic), Genny Ice, and the newest in the Genesee line-up Genny Red.

Genesee also markets beer under the Shea's Brewery, Dundee's Brewery, and Fred Koch Brewery names. Shea's Brewery brews Michael Shea's Irish Amber, Michael Shea's Black & Tan, and Michael Shea's Blonde Lager. Dundee's Brewery markets one brew called JW Dundee's Honey Brown Lager. The Fred Koch Brewery markets Golden Anniversary Beer, Golden Anniversary Light Beer, and Golden Anniversary Ice Beer.

Genesee Cream Ale. Fermented at higher temperatures, aged longer and brewed with a special top-fermenting yeast, Genesee's brewmasters take the extra step of kraesening which produces natural carbonation, resulting in a true ale with an exceptionally smooth flavor. "Genny Cream" has the distinct honor of winning two consecutive gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival. Genesee Cream Ale was introduced in 1960.

I prefer red wine. Beer is great too, but it does this to me
