I just updated my system to Win Xp & the NTFS file system.
I captured some VHS video into a single 10gb file (using IuVcr & Huffy compression)
I opened TmpgEnc and tried to select & open my AVI file but Tmp gave me an error saying 'can't find the file or unsupported'
Tmp worked fine back when I ran Win ME and had segemented captures.
The 10gb file plays in Media player w/o any problems.
I used VirtualDub to extract a 1gb length segment & Tmpg opened that fine.
Any ideas on how I get Tmpg to work with large files?
thanks

That didn't work either, but I solved the problem.
I had to go into the environmental settings and bump up the Direct show item to the highest priority.
