I was wondering if there was a program that would allow me to listen to radio stations on my computer...also, one that I could look up radio stations in another state? I have Winxp by the way.

  2. check the radio stations website. Most have streaming music for WM or Real

Also you can just open up WM or Real and select radio. Then find a station you like

If you're looking for regular AM/FM radio braodcasts, you're going to need a PCI card that has an antenna on it. If you're looking for PC radio stations, see above. Many radio stations are broadcasting online and via 'Power Tower' these days. If there is a radio station you want to listen to that's not online, if it's in your area, you might consider the PCI card. If a station is not in your area, SOL.

I have a KWorld 878 TV card which has built in FM with antenna input. Unfortunatly, I have never been able to get it to pick up anything, but my computer is in a basement.

One of the better websites for finding the links to the stations:

www.comfm.com (French site, also in English)

Has Radio and TV stations from all over the world listed, and has the least dead links because it's kept pretty much up to date.

Most are streaming RA, some Windows Media, a few MP3.

Most of the ones I know of use Real Player. WinAmp will also do radio (I think) I don't listen to the radio very often in the car, let alone the PC.
