Hello all,
Please help a newb
I just got my mini DV and I think the process to produce my CDs is a bit long so please correct me I if I am wrong.
I capture my video and import into premiere pro as then I render it as DV PAL avi file, after that I take it to Easy CD/DVD Creator 6 where it is rendered again and burned to my writer as SVCD or DVD.
I am doing 2 times render for the same file and here where the quality is lost so I wonder if this what everybody do or if there are shorter steps will not make me lose quality
Thanks for any ideas.

I suspect Roxio is causing the loss in quality. What are your output settings in Premiere? Are you exporting as DV or mpeg-2?
