movie too big to fit onto a dvd-r after using dvd2one????

Hi

I have found a couple of times that I rip a dvd movie with dvd decryptor and then use dvd2one to shrink it then record now max to burn

usually this 3 stage process works a treat with no problems at all, the quality is fine can't tell the difference on a standard analogue tele at all.


anyway a few times after i have ripped the dvd to my pc hdd then I use dvd2one to shrink it. the settings are always kept the same. the new folder is over the 4.47gb. usually arrround 1 gig over.

any ideas what could cause this?????????????????????????

I had that happen a few times, I noticed it happened on rips that had a lot more files than on a usual rip. I just set size permantly to 4400 and never ran into that problem again.
