    Hello,

I want to make a DVD from 2 Divx files.
I'm using the 0.0.9i version of ffmpegX with Sizzle 0.5b2 on MacOSX 10.3.4
I've converted the first divx with DVD preset. When i import the .AC3 file, Sizzle tell me that the audio file is not 48KHz (that's wrong) and may cause audio sync problem.
I've converted the second divx with Fast DVD preset. Sizzle tell me also that the audio file is not 48KHz and audio sync problem.
Next i launch the Save Disc Image in Sizzle, and mount my image.
When i try the DVD in Apple DVD Player, i've no audio sync problem with the first movie (DVD preset) but i've audio sync problem (0.5 sec at the EOF) with the second movie (Fast DVD).

Is it a Sizzle or ffmpegx problem?

    Thanks,
    Toche

  2. for some reason, ffmpegX and later versions of Sizzle aren't working too well together, if you just want to build a basic disc with no menus, then find an older copy of Sizzle 0.1, which I use and it works perfectly. Also, if you're building a disc from 2 movies, use the exact same encoding on them. The FastDVD preset works very nice for me, and I've used it on damn near every file I've got with pretty good success
One question though, your source movies, are they both NTSC or PAL or are they different? You can get a LOT of sync issues there!!!

I've used 2 different bitrate for the movies (both PAL) and works perfectly with DVD preset encoding (not FastDVD) in Apple player. I will burn the .dmg tomorrow and i'll try on a home DVD player.

    Thanks,
