I have been using the VCD Easy's for putting "chapter" marks on the movie. With that said, you know how you play the movie it plays starting with chapter 1 and then it moves to chapter 2, and all is well. However, if you press "Next", it goes back to beginning of chapter 2 instead of chapter 3. I've tried splitting the movie into different files, but all that accomplishes is having a brief pause inbetween each chapter, and I don't like that. The entrypoint limitation is not a big problem for me, but if there is an uncomplicated way to get around it, I might want to try it.

Nope, there is no way around it. The only other method is the one you tried with using separate tracks, but the pause you get is far more annoying then the illogical navigation you get with entrypoints. Its just something you have to live with.
