I was just thinking about this. We've got a couple of dodgy places in Bath. These are unaltered images:
Jane Austin lived on Gay Street. Interesting.... not.
Errrrrr..... What were they thinking?
I've also been to London and spotted a shop selling leather and sheepskin stuff, called "Batty Fashions". Right.....
Let's see if anyone can beat these. On review, it isn't going to be hard!![]()

one other. on your way to rocky point mexico from phoenix az. there's a town about 40 min from the border call "why". and thats exactly what your thinking too. a 65 mph highway turns in a 2 mile stretch of 25 mph. no other rinky dinky town does this on the way. just why, exactly what im thinkin when i have to slam on my brakes for this peice of town. why??? -
I wish I could find the pic. There was a billboard that said, "Pork. The one you love." and there was a church that had it's sign read, "The most powerful position is on your knees." I live in Vegas too. Just past the California Line there's an uninhabited town/area and a road called Zzyzx. I think I got the spelling right.
-
down the road a bit from me are towns that are named:
Bird-in-Hand
Intercourse
Blue Ball
Paradise
....there was a little limrick that was made up years ago using the towns names... I can't recall how it went - but I'll bet a few of you can figure it out!
Just in case anyone's curious - these are actual towns in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. (Amish country - as the tourists call it) -

A hundred miles or so east of Felt there's another town in Oklahoma named "Slapout", and another named "Hooker". -
yeah that zzyzzxzzyzed road, only prob is nobody knows how to pronounce it
-
There's a pronounciation key in some road maps. I think there is one in the big $50 AAA road map. (Zsiz-ik) I think they just named the road to prove that a 5 letter word can be made up of only the last 3 letters in the alphabet. Honestly, is that road really named after anything or anyone? I'm going to name a town or road '?' or make up some symbol instead of using a word and see if people try and fit a pronouciation or name to it. It'll be just like Prince when he was formerly known as Prince.

Also a town going toward Reno called Farad. Since my old days as an electronic tech, this makes me chuckled for some reason. Nerd humor I guess. -
I actually think FARAD was called that during the days of nuclear testing. It is kind of funny if you understand electronics and radiation.
