  1. HI,

I used CopyToDVD to write some Data (a Video_TS folder), in data mode, to my DVD-RW. When it was done writing the data, it went into another mode and told me it was finalizing my DVD-RW. Is this just a finishing process, i.e. data check, verification....., or is my media no longer rewritable.
If it is no longer rewritable, is there a setting in CopyToDVD where I can change this, and have it not finilize my DVD-RW?

Traditionally I believe that finalizing means making your media permanent, however I just can't believe that quality recording software such as CopytoDVD can let such an undersight exist.

    Thanks to All, in advance.

  2. Finalizing on DVDRW media does not mean that it cannot be erased. I think that it means that you cannot add any more sessions to it - you cannot modify it until you erase the whole thing. BTW Finalizing on -RW is a painfully long process. I cannot help you with the specifics of your software.

  3. CopyToDVD has had issues w_rws. it was not until v3.011 (i think) that the prog even recognized them. which is why i stuck w_the older version 2.47 to burn + - dvdrs and Nero 5.5.10.42 to handle rws.
