There are several good players: Yamada 6000, Neuston Maestro, Philips 642 (for USA it has 70$ price), KISS 450, etc.

The big problem comes when somebody wants to have subtitles support! I didn't find yet such a player with cyrillic support, but you don't need this. Look at www.umax.de for Yamada players.

Well, I have found one. It's LiteOn LVD-2002. The factory supplied version of the FW doesn't have Cyrillic support, but there is the version modified by a Bulgarian named CTPAX. He basically substituted one of the fonts in the standard 3.02 for a Cyrillic font. I installed it on my player, it works perfectly with Russian .SRT subtitles. If you have access to a LiteOn 2002, check out the forums at SetCom.BG

  12. Hello there, since we are touching the "subtitles" topic here, do any of you know which player will display subtitles correctly and not cropped off? I know KISS and RJ-Tech are not one of those player. Thanks in advance.
