  1. I have womple mpeg-vcr and use it for all my cutting and joining, but I have several files with the audio off sync, there is an option to adjust the delay with demuxed files, but I don't know how much to do, so basically I am going trial and error, which is alot of demuxing and muxing, What I am looking for is a player or other editor that I can open the file find the delay I need, then use mpeg-vcr to mux the files, my files are not standard mpegs (DVB sat streams) so most programs (TMPG) are really picky about them, thanks for the help

ps. Virtual Dub Mod is having problems with the files too

I was going to suggest Virtualdub MPEG2 but I don't suppose you'll have much more luck than with Virtualdubmod. What you could to is demultiplex your files with Womble and compare the lengths of the seperate streams using a media player for the video, and an audio editor for the audio. Goldwave is a good audio editor.

In fact you could even open the audio with Goldwave(or maybe even the mpeg file itself) and use the time warp effect to stretch the length to match the video, save as wav and then use FFMPEGgui to convert the wav to mp2. Finally, mux the new audio using Womble. This method may not work 100% of the time but just might in your case.
